The Painting Canadians:
I have mentioned to you all before about Eric Rajah and his Canadian Humanitarian Organization called “A Better World” (ABW). Well, Eric was here in Kenya yet again. This time he came with over 30 students from a school in Lacombe, Canada. The students were here in Kenya to help out with many humanitarian projects that ABW are doing here. Their first project was to paint the inside of our two dormitories. ABW provided the finances for all the paint, brushes and rollers and off they went to work. They did a marvelous job of painting the walls and themselves. All in all they had a fun time and we have some beautifully painted walls. Along with the group were some teachers and even a professor who spent many hours with our EAMO School teaching staff. We only wished these guys could of stayed a bit longer as there were many things to learn in the education side of things. Thank you Eric for
EAMO: Lots of kids, good food, beds, clean clothes, school and
many soccer balls and a dog! What more can you ask for???
Cute Pictures:
We just had to show you these two very cute pictures of our growing babies. The top picture is Abe and Candice and the bottom one is Abe and Carla!

Gifts from Sponsors:
The picture here below of Rachel is just one of many, where sponsored children receive a gift through the post from their sponsor. This is an absolute highlite for
the child. It simply does not
matter what is in the parcel,
it is the parcel, a gift, no
matter what it may be that
counts. Some children are so
excited about the thought
that someone overseas, a
long way a way has taken time
and money to send me a
parcel. Honestly, they feel so
special. I remember once we
had a couple of visitors from
overseas who came with a lot
of gifts, but actually ran
out and there were still children lined up in the gift line. I told them to give them anything. So some kids got a business card, others got the airline earphones, while others got a pair of airline socks. I remember taking a picture of two boys that got a pair of earphones. They were standing together with an earphone plug each (from the one set) and it was not plugged into anything. But they still enjoyed it! The smiles on the faces of these kids where just as bright and big as the others that received larger and more expensive gifts. This is truly one of the beauties of Kenyan children, they just appreciate that you think of them.

How can you help?
Someone said to me once,
“how is the best way to help you”
I told him that by far the best way is for you to sign up to sponsor a child for only $30 USD per month. This way we know what income we have each month. This makes it possible for us to run by a budget. So if you have some family or friends or workmates that may be interested in sponsoring, just show them our website, or request from us some flyers and hand them out. This really helps us. Please remember, EAMO is all about helping children, we do our physical work here, and you can help us do that by either supporting us, or talking to someone else about supporting us.
