Samwell is our latest intake. We are calling him Scott as we have many Sammy’s. May found him in the street. He is only 10 years old, and orphan for 1 year and sleeping outside the bus stage. He is a quiet boy that just wants to go to school. He told May that
there are many on the streets younger than him,
so yep. You guessed it, May will be on the streets of Nakuru next week
looking for these little
one’s. Will keep you
posted on this.

New Mattresses: Thanks to “A Better World” we now have many new mattresses. Many things here are not that good a quality, so our mattresses don't last too long.
But a lot of children do “pee” the bed, so that does not help. The pic below left shows us loading the mattresses

Clothes Store: (below left: May & with kids: right)
Every 3 months May changes all the children’s clothing that need to be changed. This can take up to 3 weeks. These clothes pictured are mostly from the streets where May goes shopping every week. Kenyan kids can be rough on clothes so we often have to change them sooner. Clothes are quite cheap here and the quality is fairly good too. You can often see our kids dressed in “Name” brands that we purchased second hand for a few dollars. We would like to thank all those that have donated socks & underpants over the years. Please keep sending them as they are always needed
